ExxonMobil has decided to move forward with Uaru, the fifth development on the Stabroek block offshore Guyana, with a production capacity of approximately 250,000 barrels per day (b/d) of oil, expected to start in 2026. The $12.7 billion project will include up to 10 drill centers and 44 production and injection wells, and a floating production, storage, and offloading vessel constructed by MODEC. The Stabroek block is also home to Liza Phase 1 and 2, Payara, Yellowtail, and Whiptail developments, with six floating production vessels expected to be online by the end of 2027.
